This Sangiovese wine is 12 years old now, and it is almost brown, with garnet only at the core. The nose is amazing, showing dried cherry, leather and black olive aromas. The palate is savory and lithe, with tannins that are no longer youthful but still firm. It is still a good wine to pair with a steak or Bolognese sauce.

The 2015 Rosso di Montalcino is an attractive wine to drink now and over the next few years, while the flavors remain vibrant. Sweet pipe tobacco, crushed flowers, worn-in leather and dried cherries are all nicely laced together in this mid-weight, inviting Rosso. This is very nicely done. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, October 2019)

Wow. Big fruit. Balanced acid. Tobacco, dark cherry. Nice.

A nice mini-Brunello. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. - JD

Аромат закрытый, травянисто-цветочный в начале, через некоторое время прибавляющий красных ягод, вишни, брусники. Тона лесной подстилки. Вкус с горчинкой, брусничные и клюквенные тона. Танины сухие, жесткие. 14/20 (80/100)
