A seductive vintage leaning on black flavors of cassis, plums, graphite and olives layered on a velvety rug of fine tannin. Outstanding!

Blend of Merlot, Cab Sauv & Petit Verdot, aged 18 months, new French oak, celebrates the wine's 20th anniversary. Dark Ruby red color with aromas of dark fruits, cigar box and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and plum with tobacco and leather spice. Fine firm chewy tannins, long finish ending with tobacco, fruit and mineral spice character. Nice! Will age, I would wait a few years to fully enjoy!

First thing I noticed, oddly, is that it created a airy, clearing sensation through my sinuses. It also lingers on the tongue, nettles, white mushroom, fern compost. Drinking it, I get baked red fruit (not jammy), sulfites, and maybe bay leaf. Plan to pet a Bracco Italiano (one of the oldest pointing dog breeds) while drinking.

Crushed red flowers and fruit, reduced down to their bare essence. Secondary notes of wood just lightly bless the palate. This is full bodied Super Tuscan with a perfect mouth feel right now. All qualities are present for more ageing. Absolutely delicious!!!

My last ‘14, Sette Ponti or "seven bridges," refers to 7 bridges crossing Arno River on road from Arezzo to Florence. Blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cab Sauv & 10% Petit Verdot, aged 18 months, new French oak. Had ‘14 while ago, now tasting nicely. Dark Ruby with pronounced aromas of dark fruits, cigar box & earthy notes, touch of citrus. Flavors of cherry & plum with tobacco & spice. Fine chewy tannins, long finish ending with tobacco & mineral spice as the finish builds. Nice! Will continue to age!

Cherry and currants with tobacco and oak spice. Smooth and refined tannins, well structures long finish ending with mineral and earthy character. Wow!!
