Vintage 2015 | first bottle of a six-box. Gave it two hours in decanter but the wine kept a bit stubborn, you can taste it is rich and complex, but for me it felt as infanticide. Huge potential.

Needs a ton of air, no surprise here with this producer. Solid potential for 95+ with more cellar time.

Tremendous Brunello. As good as Biondi Santi for a third of the price.

2021 Independence Day Party 🇺🇲 🥳 with several members of our Tastevin crew and extended friends.🍷 Proof that our palates are wider than Burgundy, outside of sanctioned events.🍾 Notes may be light, scores will be honest. 💯

With every minute that passes this wine opens up. On the nose: sour cherries, Rose petal, savory herbs, Oak influence, leather, slight barnyard, I could go on! On the pallet: an acid attack, high acidity, tannins come in right after, they cover the pallet, then the fruit (sour cherry, dried rose petals), a long, sour, dry mouth finish. This wine has your mouth asking for more. #mindblown #ilpogg #brunelloDiMontalcino #italian

Lovely wine, I enjoyed the grip of the tannins and the dusty red fruit characteristics. I wish I could drink more Italian wine like this.

Lovely Valentine’s Day enjoyment! This vintage was great with a steak and potatoes. Very smooth, a hint of tobacco and black fruits. Tannins that definitely stand up. 👍🏻

Prime Brunello. Everything you could want from a Brunello. Rich dark cherry notes, earthy, aromatically ethereal, tannic, structured, and a long lingering finish. The epitome of what you expect from a Brunello. A must have again and again.

A few years extra rest will make it definitely better.
