Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

So balanced and complex. Nose shows tobacco leaf, moist loamy gravel, macerated ripe cherry, incense. Concentrated and mouthfilling, but it’s very soft and showing lots of secondary and some tertiary flavors. Such richness. Wow. Thanks to my brother for popping this!

Nose was full of flavorful aromas. Entry did not disappoint. Tannins kick in on the finish. Not young so was expecting a bit more. Dinner with B in NYC at catch steak.

Young fresh and promising. Decant!

Delicious. Classic. Dried cherries, cocoa nibs, bit of oak. Integrated tannins. Great balance, good finish. Always reliable.

Easy drink. Good with seafood or steak.
