Nose and palate are worlds apart with the nose being quite closed any showing plum and nuts. The palate however it's where it's at with tart red fruit, leather, tobacco, slightly herbal and that textbook sang tannin

Bought as part of my son's birth year cellar. Initial shy. Reserved fruit. Gains color with air, always a good sign for a young wine, in my opinion. On day two/three, shows more savory cherry fruit and more structure than I initially recognized. This may improve in the Cellar better than I expected.

Lightly buttery, vanilla, berry, leather. Little bit too hot on the nose and taste. Gets better the longer it opens up.

Easy going, very drinkable, "normal" Sangiovese; goes well with a pasta meal or just cheese.

Gorgeous ruby red color. Mouth feel grabs hold with black cherry tone and other dark fruit, and smooth acidity balance. Not a lingering finish at all but a lovely thinking drinking wine.
