Classic Chianti with tart cherry & herby undergrowth + a whiff of tomato leaf.
Bright, juicy and savoury on the palate, with good flow and nicely managed tannins. Not overly complex but with nice edges here & there. Rustic, but in a nice way.
The ultimate pasta wine.

Nice pasta wine for a dinner in. Best to decant or pour out and let it warm up to room temp.

Definite Sangiovese taste with fruit and sour notes, but harsh on the finish. Disappointing for a Classico.

Nice ripe cherry with a little leather and savory spices. Good acidity with fine tannin but a really short finish. Disappears almost entirely on the palate in under ten seconds. Still nice to drink

Tart, more oaky, beautiful acid and structure, black fruit, peppery, delicious. 3.5
