2008 vintage from magnum.
62 % Merlot, 23 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 8 % Cabernet Franc, 6 % Sangiovese and 1 % Petit Verdot.
Ripe plums, violets and bay laurel.
Dark fruits, cherry, balsamic and tobacco.
Tannins have rounded out and are well integrated. This was a joy to drink with BBQ striploin.

Tight now, softens with air and gains some complexity but still primal. Better than its price indicates so a very good value.

Fell in lust with the peppery, deep body and fruity finish. One of my favorites that is heavy on Sangiovese grapes. Love, love, LOvE!
