Saturday and all the landscaping is done. Time to sit down, open some wine and kick my feet up. I have opened the 2015 Le Volte Dell' Ornellaia 67% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Sangiovese.
The nose is showing red fruits, cherry, strawberry, plum, red currants, rose petals, anise, green peppercorn, spice, brick and earth.
The palate is also showing the red fruit, tart cherry, tart strawberry, red currant, plum, spice, bell pepper, anise, anise and earthy notes.
This wine is medium to full bodied with medium + acidity and smooth round medium + tannins that lead to a long clean finish. A beautiful young wine that can age or drink now and a great QPR. Have a great holiday weekend, play hard and stay safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Medium ruby, clear and bright all the way to the edge. Medium bodied nose with lots of berry,lavender and subtle spice notes. Soft, medium bodied mouth feel gushing with black cherry, raspberry and plum waltzing with coffee and savory spices. Finishes with a tick of graphite licorice and earthy textures.
