Medium Ruby red color with berry fruit, fragrant spice and earthy floral notes, blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, aged for 10 months on used oak. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cherry, and tobacco with notes of herb pepper spice and tangy mineral feel. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with tobacco and cacao wrapped in an earthy spice character. Will age a bit!

Vintage 2016 | spicyness in smell, red fruit and good balance in taste | paired with tunafish and stewed chicory.

Vintage 2015 / nice craftsmanship Le Volte is. Spicy, pepper, a bit sturdy - I like that - cherries in aftertaste.

A very good quality wine, tehere the ripe and defined primary fruit is embracing the secondary oak aromas, lacking some evolvement and persistence on the palate to reach higher. Alcohol is a bit warming and out of context, and the wine would benefit of a better intergration.
