Lovely full-bodied balanced. Chablis crossed my mind tasting blind.

Citrus acidity, malo richness, loooong finish, salinity, minerality, beautiful dried herbal note. Really should have aged this maybe 3-4 years. Exquisite.

An outstanding Italian white, I just had to taste again. 100% Carricante grown in deep volcanic soil, aged in French oak for 10 months . Pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits and honeysuckle blossom. On the palate flavors of apple, apricot and lemon citrus with creamy vanilla wrapped in generous acidity, long finish ending with wet stone minerality. Nice, consistent quality.

Lemons.

Really evolved from open to finish. Started very light and linear mineral, opened up into a broad, Rich, oily drink. Light lemon flavors throughout, but the lava really came through late. Yummy and interesting but less delicious than other vintages of Vigna niche I recall...

Pale golden straw with hints of green. On the nose. Apple, pear, lemon, honey and brioche. On the palate, citrus, lemon, honey, minerals, with a fuller mouth feel and long finish.

In-laws really wanted more Carricante, so we picked this up at the local shop.
