Basa Blanco Rueda Verdejo Blend

2014 vintage citrus, floral, peach medium + aromatic intensity. Round but crisp. Nice with lunch on a terrace in Den Haag

peaches, mango, starfruit, apples, hint of herbs & touch of white pepper & baking spices

Notes of peach and Orange. Medium bodied with ripe fruit flavours. A good quaffing white with citric acid and a dry chalky finish. Not a keeper. Drank another one 56 weeks later on 26 March 2017. Notes as above - more enjoyable than the 2015. The 2014 seems riper with more flavour and less pineapple juice.

Oro pajizo, buena potencia en nariz, plátano, manzana, punto natoso y glicérico. En boca buena entrada, paso correcto y final largo y con buen secante y acidez... para beber y beber.

Nice, tasty impulse buy. More Sauv Blanc than I'd like to see in a Rueda white but still a crowd pleaser for those not overthinking it.

Fruit forward. Crisp yellow apples, underripe banana with tertiary vegetal notes and a long finish. No Sauvignon Blanc this vintage.

Meh. Acidic. Sharp. Single-dimensional.

Minerals, crisp, peach. Pleasant, long finish. A hint of nuttiness afterwards. The bottle may have been open a little while. Buy a bottle for home.

Crisp and refreshing with a light finish.

This is really good it has a citrus nose followed by pear, grapefruit undertones with very silken mouth feel. It's not tart or sharp but has a clean crisp finish smooth finish. A very pleasant white that would go well with appetizers or salad or just sipping on the patio.
