This is a classic Chianti very bright and sharp on the start with fruit flavors and dry gripping tannins at the finish. It was great with a wood fired pizza tonight. A wonderful expression of Sangiovese. Clean and fresh. Perfect — 7 years ago

This a great wine for 13 bucks. It’s not very concentrated but it’s very pleasant with fruit and spices. Nose is muted very subtle. Nice simple every day sipper. — 5 years ago

After almost 10 years this wine has finally matured into a lovely state. The once overwhelming tannic grip has soften and is now a silky presence. The fruit is still there but muted and more in the background and thinner less concentrate. Had this tonight with beef short ribs it was perfect cutting through the fat of the ribs. Maybe it's just me but the alcohol is very apparent while the finish lingers pleasantly with the now soft tannins. — 6 years ago

This is really good it has a citrus nose followed by pear, grapefruit undertones with very silken mouth feel. It's not tart or sharp but has a clean crisp finish smooth finish. A very pleasant white that would go well with appetizers or salad or just sipping on the patio. — 9 years ago

Very dry with a little oak. Feels a little thin on the pallet. Not much going on very one dimensional but has some of the rhone signature taste. Maybe we held it to long. — 8 years ago

Its a rather thin Pinot Has that distinctive Pinot flavor in the background with not much up front. The finish is short and rather hot with alcohol at 14.2. — 9 years ago
