Mar 4th, 2023Gorgeous. And incredibly smooth. Tons of dark fruits and black cherry. Lots of vanilla. Theres some heat in this too but a good balance of spice and sweet.

Oct 29th, 2022Gorgeous high-toned cherry fruit. Tea, dried roses, sweet edges. Orange peel. So pure and long. Haunting.

Nov 4th, 2020Deep mahagony, aromas composed of grassy, rhummy spirit, cherry pit, kirsch, hint of iron oxide, fruity roasted cacao. So complex. A great treat from @AurelioCabestrero.

Dec 20th, 2019An intense nose with woodiness, some settled kirsch, soft candied cherry. On the palate sweet red fruit with a cough syrup note and loads of complexity. Very fine and long.

Dec 25th, 2018Needs bottle time. Very muscular and concentrate. Loved the 70 and the 77 but this 1948 reminds me of the 1994: straight backbone, almost austere, it definitely deserves the title of "The Chateau Latour of Port".
