Tenuta Regaleali Lamùri Nero d'Avola

This wine is quite dark in the glass. Its nose is powerful, loaded with dark notes like black cherry, tar, leather, and tobacco. The palate is just as dark, with brambly cherry and plum flavors and a heavy dose of earthy minerality. The finish fades more quickly than I would like, because a savory delight is left behind after the sip. I would have this with a lamb burger or Italian sausage and be very happy with the pairing.

A bit of leathery dried fruit on the nose, some barnyard. Very light and fresh. Nearly no tannin so very approachable style.

Nice sturdy Nero D’Avola. I am new to this grape so need to taste more. One thing is clear, this is a great wine for food pairings. Took a long time to open up and then started singing!

Killer by the glass Nero d Avola, love it. Bright, earthy, approachable.

A pretty dependable red, even if it lacks some of the dynamism of some of its stablemates from the same winery.

Smooth as silk, love the deep red fruit and underlining tobacco and herbal notes. Try with Bbq.

Revisit. Mulled cherry, provencial herbs and a bit o wet dog. A bit on the green side for me.
