Nice sturdy Nero D’Avola. I am new to this grape so need to taste more. One thing is clear, this is a great wine for food pairings. Took a long time to open up and then started singing!

Deep purple color, pronounced on the nose with sweet black currant, jamminess; on the palate it's medium tannins, dry, medium (-) acidity, medium (+) alcohol, medium (+) body, more jamminess, black currant, figs, medicinal, vanilla, medium (+) finish, good quality and has potential for aging

A pretty dependable red, even if it lacks some of the dynamism of some of its stablemates from the same winery.

Smooth as silk, love the deep red fruit and underlining tobacco and herbal notes. Try with Bbq.
