Champagne Taittinger was established in 1931 by Pierre Taittinger on the foundations of Forest-Forneaux, itself established in 1734 and the third-oldest wine producing house of Champagne. A blend of 50% Chardonnay & 50% Pinot Noir from Montagne de Reims. Fresh intense yet complex yellow and red fruits with some nutty biscuit notes. On the palate ripe apple, peach and subtle cherry flavors, crisp with a toasty character. Lingering superb Brut finish. Tasting Sample!

1 person found it helpfulJul 13th, 2019Well worth the wait! Taittinger can be on the brioche-y side, but in this vintage version the fruit and bright acidity shine through, supported by wonderful nutty overtones. Paired it with smoked salmon and herbed goat cheese: so delicious!
