Satisfying #pinotnoir discovery from #siciliadoc at a private restaurant party. I wonder how they get enough cool evenings down in Sicily during those hot summers for this grape? Nevertheless, it works nicely - wild cherry fruit up front, very restrained oak and manageable tannins. The wine worked well with some Italian favorites like lasagne and sweet sausage.
