well balanced. Deep purplish ruby, sappy blackberry, cassis, vanilla, touch of cedar, earth. Dry, mid acidity, well grained tannin, fine bitterness. Well balanced, high cost perf. CS! ABV14%+

You would not initially think this was a South African wine as it lacks the typical unique earthiness you would usually detect. Instead this has a huge cherry bouquet. It’s overwhelming initially but mellows after breathing for an hour and becomes a very respectable effort. Dark and syrupy and unique in its own right.

Great Cab. Tart Green Apple, Tobacco & leather notes. Slight black pepper spice but super drinkable and great price.
