Aromatic - peach, apple, and ripe pear. Celery salt and minerality. Old world nose. M+ acid, m- body. Long finish. Lean and would be great with food.

Dry furmint hand delivered from Mad, Tokaj, Hungary. A simple, flavorful white wine. Baked pear, nutmeg, short fruity finish. Foccacia, olive oil, balsamic vinegar is a great pairing. Simple and enjoyable.

Very interesting and delightful wine with lots of acidity. Light bodied but full of character. On the nose, I got lots of candied/baked yellow fruit and molasses and botrytis qualities, but it was surprisingly fresh and saline and slightly herbal on the palate. Baked apple, lemon pith, oregano, white pepper. It got more candied flavors as it warmed up and I can imagine that it’s lovely in a sweeter form as well. Just a smidge of effervescence. I could drink a lot of this.

They had me at the name. Drier than other of the variety that I’ve had, but pairs well with food and the flavors present. Nice brandy-like finish.

Very floral, full-bodied, not a lot of acid. Tastes like it wants to be sweet so badly.

Floral nose to match floral palate. Smooth, slightly crisp, with semi sweet components. Lily gardenia essence. Sea salt minerality. Delightful with shellfish.
