A nice deep Pinot. Very Russian River in profile. Denser on plum, blackberry side of fruit.

Really good once opened, REALLY GOOD a day later. The oak influence is more pronounced, the fruit is more intense, and the finish keeps on going.

Not sure about this wine. Tastes like a generic red, not much identifiable PN characteristics. Kinda hot and bleh too. A shame.

Tasted Sojourn's '14 Pinots and immediately contacted the winery and begged for their entire lineup. For Pinot lovers, I cannot rave enough about this Sonoma Coast at only $39 (every Pinot drinker should have a couple cases at their house), all the way to the Gap's Crown, which is an amazing bottle for $59

Long lingering finish...
Red cherry and some lovely star anise...6 vineyards. Medium weight.

The nose has notes of cranberry, Italian plums, forest floor and hickory. Nice dark ruby color with magenta hues along the edge. A subtle start with red fruit flavors. Not too tannic but a well rounded mouth feel. A smooth velvet finish.

some liked this, I just couldn't get into it. Plenty of ripe fruit, the acid was kind of harsh though, and not integrated at all.

This is a special Pinot. Vintage in and vintage out, it is the epitome of silky and stylish. Ripe red fruit, red florals on the nose, gorgeous purity of fruit. This, along with Cristom's Mt. Jefferson are the benchmarks for entry-level Pinots from phenomenal Pinot producers.

The nose hints at sweet cherry jam, But the palate is both Bing and maraschino. A little pleasant pine in the aftertaste, which isn't quite long enough. Solid effort though.
