Inky in color with a short purplish rim.

Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and very fruity on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing black plums, black currants, cooked cherries, spices, cedar, cola, vanilla, light toast, tobacco, earth, herbs, chocolates, eucalyptus, coffee, peppercorn and licorice.

Long finish with round tannins and cherries.

This is a gorgeous 5-year-old Cabernet Sauvignon from Coombsville in Napa Valley.

Big and bold, yet elegant. Rich and extracted, fruit forward and delicious. Showing lots of chocolate and coffee notes.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 90 minutes of airtime, when tannins show up and bring good structure.

Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Tangy, spicy and interesting.

Will continue to age nicely in the next 7 to 10 years.

Good by itself as a sipping wine, and will pair nicely with a big piece of steak.

14.7% alcohol by volume.

93 points.

Made with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Mount George Vineyard, deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, floral notes, herbs, spice and earthy cedar tones. On the palate flavors of blackberry, plum and blueberry fruit with notes of cacao, leather and oak notes. Fine dusty tannins, long finish ending with dried fruits, cacao and earthy oak.

It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon.

Deep purple in color with a wide reddish rim.

Fruity nose with blackberries, cooked cherries, milk chocolates, blueberries, cedar, earth, tobacco, light vanilla, licorice, spices, herbs and black pepper.

Full bodied, smooth and elegant, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cherries, wood, spices, earth, black tea, chocolates, tobacco, graphite, herbs, dark coffee and peppercorn.

Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.

This 4 year old Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, is drinking beautifully now. Still young, but already showing very nice complexity.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 45 minutes of air time, when more complexity comes into play.

This delicious Cabernet will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

Good by itself or with food. A good sipping wine, but will also pair nicely with a nice piece of steak.

Rich, yet elegant. Spicy, tangy and fruit forward.

I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses. Paired really nicely with the Romanian Genoa Salami.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Coombsville were aged for 18 months in mostly French Oak barrels (43% new), with some American and Hungarian Oak.

14.7% alcohol by volume.

Quite gorgeous. Bordeaux on the nose. Dusty, acid, whoa. Petit Verdot adds some strong structure. Lean, terroir driven, dried raspberry, dusty berry, seamless texture, crushed stone and spicy pepper. Firm, a lot of presence, old world influenced for sure.
