Absolutely perfect pairing with a nice filet of beef and crab cake. The nose gets your attention first of course and while it needs a bit of time out of the bottle, it’s totally worth it. Properly decanted and served at around 64-65 degrees, this is definitely worth seeking out again. — 5 months ago

Big beautiful color. Great on a cold night in Palo Alto. Sangiovese from Napa is rare. 2018 was a great year. Very nice! — 2 months ago

Blend of 96% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc, deep Ruby with rich aromas of dark ripe fruit and herb spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and plum with tobacco, cacao and cedar. Blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec, aged in 40% new French oak. Deep Ruby color with aromas of ripe dark fruits, cedar and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and currants with notes of herbs, pepper spice, hints of vanilla and earthy notes. Fine sweet tannins, long finish ending with cacao, smoky oak, fruit and mineral tang. Very nice, aging well, but time will reward! — 25 days ago
