Sella & Mosca
Riserva Cannonau di Sardegna
Medium intensity nose sports loads of tangy cherry and raspberry, along with a whiff of sandalwood and a note of sandstony/crushed rock minerality. In the mouth it’s balanced, reasonably concentrated, and bright. Flavors tend toward cherry liqueur and finish with a savory twist. Not as full bodied as some Cannonaus (only 14%). Nice dinner companion.

Sep 23rd, 2021Very full flavored, dried cherry, broad acidity pushing the fruit through though and well balanced with a fairly long finish.

Feb 22nd, 2022Deep, rich, textured. Also wishy washy, but progressively less so. Should be enjoyed with a bite of some sort, perhaps a fat ribeye!
