Schlosskellerei Gobelsburg Kamptal Gruner Veltliner

Somebody already took my “Kamptal ladies” joke so I’ll just say this was an excellent gruner for the money and went great with vegetable risotto

Tropical, some stone fruit, someone said green almonds and I can’t not taste them now, but this is a lot of acidity with good tart fruit.

Light straw color. Interesting fruit driven aromas of ripe pears, tropical fruit and citrus with hints of fresh herbs. Mixed bag of the same fruits on the palate with additional notes of unripe peach, minerals, green beans and those fresh herbs. Nice earthy note on the tongue tingling finish. Wonderful compliment to food. (Especially green foods) So fresh and alive! Great QPR.

Delicious. Unripe almonds. Bright acidity.

Good acid, great with Thai/Indian to bring out more depth in the wine.
