Freaking fabulous! A little disjointed at first but with air it turned into something complex and remarkable. A little hot but that’s to be expected. Really well balanced, super silky fine grained tannins and just awesome texture overall

Reminds me of the 06 Reva-not as much heft yet layers upon layers. Has another 10 years in it.

After a couple hours this was singing. Best Saxum I’ve had, better than more vaunted vintages.

This wine is so different compared to its youth. I remember a lush, jammy, sexy wine full of cassis, dark fruit and vanilla. Now it carries some nuance. Sous bois on the nose with cedar, tobacco, leather and dried cherry. I prefer the young and slutty version but this is really delightful nonetheless. Would be interested to revisit in another 10 years

Uber complex aromas soar from the glass. Black/blue fruits, tobacco, spice, violet, earth. This complexity carries over like a palate coating blanket tucked in with spice and silky tannin. Just a youngster but rewarding nonetheless. Looking forward to seeing how these mature.

Great nose of crushed red berries and violets with cherries, a medley of berries, glycerine, and a hint of meat drippings on the palate. Finish is long and full of minerality. Awesome wine and drinks great right now
