Located in the village of Castiglione Tinella in the heart of the Piedmont Region called the Langhe, four generations the Saracco family has been Moscato d' Asti. Clear, light, almost white, with small bubbles, Frizzante-style. Pronounced nose, floral and ripe white peaches, with notes of honeysuckle. Sweet, the palate follows the nose with the addition of orange citrus flavors with low acidity and nice medium length finish. Tasting Sample.

This d’Autunno bottling is slightly pricier than the regular DOCG, but so far I prefer the DOCG. It has always seemed dryer and brighter than this. Although this does seem to have richer fruit.

Piemonte tasting #6
Fruitier & richer vs their ‘normal’ Moscato. Great purity of fruit, exotic and sweet but perfectly balanced with fruity acidity. This is just delicious stuff, sweet yet energetic & refreshing.
Neither complicated nor serious but so much fun.

Breakfast wine at 5.5% abv. As good as moscato gets. Yum!
