Cantina Sant'Andrea

Oppîdum Secco Moscato di Terracina 2014

Mid Gold in colour. The tell tale grape pulp aromas of the Muscat grape with florals - “sweet pea” said my good wife. On the palate fulsome fresh grapey flavours finishing dry with a skinnsy bitterness. From the region of Lazio where the principal city is Rome with the famous football (soccer) club of the same name - Lazio FC. — 4 days ago

We are identifying this wine.

Bottled in 2016 but 2000 harvest. Flor-like wine. Dry even if it's a Moscato. Complex, structured, never ending in smells and flavours. A must have small niche wine — 10 days ago

Sparkling Moscato Rosé

This spumante dolce has about as much alcohol in it as many beers, so it’s incredibly easy to drink. The bubbles rise up festively and last a good while in the glass. — 7 days ago

101 Ca' del Baio Moscato d'Asti

- Mango, perfectly ripe fruit. Guava, peach. Papaya
- Like Spring time in Italy
- Super fun, Lower alcohol. 5%
- Perfect brunch wine
- Goes with melon, could go with prosciutto
- Really good actually, very fresh. Sticky feeling. Candy like, very sugary
- Works as a dessert
- Pairing: strawberry shortcake or fresh fruit

Romano Dogliotti

La Caudrina Moscato d'Asti 2018

Delectable Wine

Vivid pale golden straw. Enticing aromas of ripe yellow apple, tangerine, lemon ice and sweet spices have a musky undertone. Then bright, lively and pure, offering deep, complex flavors of fresh citrus fruit, sage and minerals that linger impressively on the floral and very long back end. Another standout Moscato d'Asti from Romano Dogliotti; La Caudrina confirms itself as one of the true benchmark wines of the denomination (Dogliotti's usually richer, more concentrated 2018 La Galeisa will be released around March 2019). (Ian D'Agata, Vinous, December 2018) — 2 days ago
