This is the regular bottling of Vietti’s Moscato d’Asti. I’m not normally a Moscato frizzante guy but I’m trying out an unusual recipe that calls for half a bottle of it. So we’re drinking the rest of it and it’s quite nice. Loads of spritely fruit on the nose, ripe and zesty in the mouth. Super clean and pure tasting. This would be dynamite rehydration after a work-out! Only 5% alcohol!

Not the best pairing with Sushi.
A tad sweeter than previous vintages it seems, but still quite balance with aromatic intensity and fresh acidity.

The screw cap really takes the fun out of opening the bottle. Fortunately quality has not changed. Nice balance between sweetness and acidity.
