Saltram
No. 1 Barossa Shiraz
Classic Barossa. Shiny oak, slight chocolate on the back palate with ripe dark plums on the front. Pretentious, moi?! The acid sticks out a little for me, but still beautiful for a pop and pour.

May 12th, 2021Marvellous
I am not a big fan of these wines,
But this one was absolutely great
It comes from a benchmark vintage, but never give anything for granted mate
It had a fantastic complexity with a distinctive licorice that blew my mind away
Very intense very persistent very elegant and fresh too
I want more✌️

Jun 15th, 2015Past its best and the sweeter American oak notes distract a little, but still a decent drink.

Apr 15th, 2022Classic Aussie Shiraz. Inky dark purple in color with a viscous big body. Blackfruits and a smooth mouthfeel with at least an hour decant. Worth the wait and even better on the second day. Enjoy.

Mar 17th, 2019Revisiting this one. The hallmark sweet black fruit plus vanilla and coconut American oak of the Barossa is evident. It’s developing into comfortable leathery tones while retaining that dark fruit potency. Tannins have really softened off. Good time to be drinking it - should hold for a while but I won’t be leaving the rest for too long.
