Medium Ruby with berry fruit, fragrant spice and earthy floral notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cherry, and licorice with notes of herb pepper spice and nice tangy mineral feel. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with tobacco, vanilla and cacao wrapped in an earthy spice character.

A very enjoyable “Toscana” that is young now but can be enjoyed if there is food to pair with it. Aromatically, it came across as modern with ripe black cherry, currant, and tobacco. On the palate, good acidity with a streak of tart cherry down the middle, complemented by iron, tar and rose petal. Pop with a few slices of pizza and enjoy the ride.

Enjoyed over 4 days and just got better each day. This is what you’d drink every day in Tuscany. SS

Violet, dried rose are first impression, red cherry, licorice, cinnamon, nutmeg, dried black plum or candy cherry. Get different aroma every time when sticking my nose into the wine glass. Lots of layer and depth, medium plus tannin, medium plus alcohol. Opened for couple days and still evolving. What a lovely wine!
