This took about 5 hours to come good but it is great stuff. Better than the Barrail du Blanc. Fresher and more vibrant fruit and a much better body.

NOSE: rich, earthy berries.
TASTE: a little more one dimensional than expected, but still quite good — perhaps it is just “subtle” and “young.” Clearly “Wine” with a capital W. Earthy berries as the nose — the fruit became much fresher with air (1-2 hours). Should be much nicer in a few years. 92.

Very smooth, good complexity, enough tannic backbone to drink over the next several years.

Good soup. Mouthful of fresh blueberries with a herbal side. Fresh turned earth.

Oct 7th, 2021Middle range right bank. Needs an hour to show some red fruits and likely a few more years to shine. Faint cigar box and cinnamon spice.
