'His' Las Brisas Vineyard Vermentino

Really well done Megan and ryan. The 'his' vermentino is a delightful wine. A little skin contact goes a long way

Saline apricot peach-pit roses honeycomb quince grippy textured food loving fun in a bottle. Don't serve too cold. Save some, they get better in the cellar.

A less intellectual and more accessible skin contact white, full of apricot and other stone fruit, luscious texture, palate refreshing acidity and a touch of salinity on the finish. Shines with food, broadening to include more savory and herbal notes. Love this every year, and this early days yet.

Perfect pairing with a fresh ham, slow roasted all day. Really brought out the savory mineral edge in this wine.

Yellow gold, flat in the nose but firm on the tounge, with a powerful long-lasting finish. It begs for a flavorful food to live up to.

Wild. Smells like roses, fresh ripe peaches, dried apricots and honey. On the palate an intense minerality emerges with a distinct oxidative quality. The acid is quite subdued. It definitely opened up at cellar temperature, and starting showing some wild tannin structure for a white wine.

Some skin maceration gives it bit of oxidative quality and tinge of ripeness like baked stone fruits. Fun nose but lacked acid backbone.

A good representation of a grape I'm not enamored with. Also good suggestion from the Somm for out of town guests when we wanted something fun from Napa
