Clear dark ruby in the glass. Nose of black cherry and menthol tea. Medium plus acidity and palate clearing, medium plus tannins usher in the palate of strong black tea, tart cherry, and soft leather. Could keep until 2020 but with a good decant or run through the aerator it's drinking well now. Solid example of the appellation. Food is its friend of course.

Cherries on nose joined by oak spice, lavender. Acidity is huge! Red fruit and spice flavors. Red licorice on finish.

Apparently my mom and Lew totally dug this in Downingtown PA. Cross posting east coast pours from Seattle only on @delectible. $18 / 92pts

Classic Chianti Classico with crunchy red cherries, lilting acidity & dusty tannins. Doesn't hold well to the next day, so drink up!

Proof that all budget Chianti imported into the US doesn't suck

Honestly for mass produced juice this is a decent and true to type Chianti
