The walter was better, What can I say?

Corked was completely soaked, mold covering the bottle top and capsule underside. When opened I thought it was a goner, rank and dead. 30min later thought it came around and sprung to life. Dusty red cherry, wet leaves, turned earth, black tea, sandalwood, beetroot, flowers.

I really enjoyed this. Decanted and rested for at least one hour. The aroma was pure pretty Pinot. Well balanced and smooth. I would drink more Pinot if they were as well made as this one.

Lovely German Pinot Noir. Almost 20 years old but still bright and fresh. Some tertiary aromas kn the nose, cola and sour cherry on the palate. Finesse.

2013 vintage on Jan 27, 2017. A light Burgundian style Pinot with excellent balance and a lengthy finish

Cherry red colour and fragrant dark cherry bouquet. Quite a light but mouth-filling cherry flavour, almost Beaujolais-esque but without the tartness. Not a complex wine but very quaffable and good with food.
