Really powerful, cherry, grilled apricot and stewed plum, earth, tar, gun metal, savory, very herbaceous and floral (reminiscent of green chartreuse). A bit tight but discovering new flavors as it opens up. Nice grip, hot, lifted, fantastic finish. Should improve with time.

Excellent Barbaresco, classic Nebbiolo nose, medium weight fruit with chalky and chewy tannins, young of course, a bargain at $29 bought in general food shop in San Francisco.
