Medium color to the rim. Nose of deep cherries but deeper black fruits in the nose. In the mouth very rich extract of Pinot noir but very tannic and not characteristic of Burgundy. For California Pinot it is a good score but to intense when compared to the elegant balance of Burgundy.

Brilliant red color in the glass. Nose has vivid, perfumed fruit with cedar accents. Palate is beautifully balanced with sublime acidity. The tannins could soften a bit with time but otherwise this is an outstanding expression.
