I love old cab because it approximates the elegance of Pinot noir. This wine is about perfect tonight. Leather and dried cassis, subtle herbal and dried cherry and raspberry, but amazingly complete and seamless. Lively acidity with a leathery edge.

An absolutely perfect bottle. Graphite and leather and earth and cedar. Wonderful herbal notes accompany powdery tannins.
