Damn you Tim Vandergrift, giving me highly hopped beers I am forced to love. Hoppy IPA nose if you're not paying careful attention. Systemic desensitization brings out pineapple and coriander, pine and orange blossom/terpene. Probably the third best IPA I've ever had. Good luck finding it, hand carried from BC. — 2 years ago
Singularity Imperial Russian Stout, Victoria BC. Infinite density for sure! 14.6 alcohol and about the extract-iest beer I've ever tasted. Stomps on Bigfoot. Milk chocolate, cacao nibs and hint smokey in the mouth. Dense, roasted and massive, maintains balance by being mostly dry, but alcohol gives it breadth and sweetness. Pretty amazing over the top beer! — 2 years ago
Mystic 'Everyday Saison'. Chelsea Mass. Retrieved from my Boston trip as a beer that would suit my palate. Great suggestion. Not many Saisons can be called session. But this one is both top-ferments fruity/baking spice, good depth, but also nervey and bright at only 4.3%. Crafty as f@ck. More Duvel than Petrus, just hidden in a supermodel's body — 2 years ago
