Clean lime and lacto secondary. Mid-afternoon bubbles, crisp finish. Pretty blown away by this grower sparkler.

Lovely Rose Champagne from Moncuit. Bone-dry, nicely integrated acidity, fine bubbles. Very mineral driven, puristic interpretation. Oyster shell, wet stone and a strawberry component on the nose. No crowd pleaser in any way.

Big, full flavored, savory, chalky. Not quite the cut of the Pierre wines, a richer style, but the pedigree come through big time. Talcy, earthy, rich, this works really well with cured meats. Fine value for the $43 US that I paid. Disgorged 7/15/15, this is tight and could use some time, last glass was the best
