Lloyd made the rounds working at a bunch of renowned wineries, Cakebread, Stag’s Leap, La Crema & Rombauer where he gained Head Winemaker status before leaving in 2008 to start his own project, Lloyd Cellars. Fruit sourced from blocks in Sangiacomo & Truchard Vineyards, aged for 10 months in new American oak. Aromas of ripe stone & tropical fruits, citrus and blossom notes. Palate has apple, pear & peach flavors with bits of citrus wrapped in a creamy texture. Long rich finish ending with slight toasty notes. Tasting Sample.

A truly special shout out to my buddy Steve Colanero @Steve Colanero He gave me this bottles to enjoy . What an incredibly stunning California Chardonnay! Toasted brioche, crème brûlée, Oak and a finish that goes on for a minute plus. It’s his absolute house wine and I am a definite believer.. Truly incredible Chardonnay. I really dig it!👏👏👏👍👍👍👏👏👏 This bottle was the perfect opener to our incredible evening! Thank you once again Steve!

Great oaky California Chardonnay. Can tell winemaker is from Rombauer (which I love) as it has a great hazelnut, oaky aroma. Beautiful.

Its like biting into a perfect pear from the garden of eden. Excellent work from one of Rombauer's old wine makers!

Svelte and well endowed, like a Victorias Secret model. Apple, pear, pineapple and melon fruit, imbibed with creamy vanilla, with an enigmatic cool and smoky finish. Most impressive in its persistence, and fine calibration.
