Strong ripe pear on the nose with hints of melon and vanilla. Slightly acidic with a buttery oak finish accompanied by the fruit and a little caramel. Its like biting into a perfect pear from the garden of eden. Excellent work from one of Rombauer's old wine makers! — 9 years ago
