A nice LS, moving along toward maturity but a ways to go yet. As always, oak is a big part of the palate, and here it's starting to integrate. Nice texture. Crowd pleaser.

2009. Had this wine side-by-side with another 2009 Zinfandel paired with lamb/beef seekh kebabs. They both aged well and paired great with dinner. This Ridge wine had more restrained aromas and meatier more savory flavors with a full round mouthfeel.

Contrary to the Geyserville I enjoyed last weekend - this Lytton was more restrained - both wine were bought at the same time and stored in the same card box - will enjjoy another one in a couple of years
