Another lovely bottle of Jimsomare! Cinnamon prepares top sirloin, asparagus and baked potatoes and decanted this an hour ahead. Aromaticaly this bottle was perfect- expressive and curranty but the finish had a touch of redwood. Still a small bottle!

Made NY strips for mom, baked potato (with all fixings including lardon) wedge with blue (more lardon) this wine was fresh, great mouth feel, and well integrated. Thanks Gary and Cindy, this was a treat.

Dec 6th, 201392’ Cabernet bottled in ‘94. Only 18 barrels produced. But even PD himself said it would be enjoyable within 5 years of vintage. Even though this bottle was well stored, the wine was past its prime. Smokey, tannic. It has layers of flavor, but very faded and not really pleasant to drink. Rated it 8.1 because I could still taste shadows of what have been.

Wow much more fruit than the last bottle. Just so expressive and vibrant. Holds its own with other great '94s. I can smell it from across the room and still taste it 10 min after the last sip!

Sep 12th, 20161993! Drinking well. A little funk and a lot of eucalyptus on the nose fruit is fading and finish is a little short but still enjoyable.
