Light and fluffy, just like the homemade gnocchi I made to go with it in a cream gorgonzola sauce. The 2017 is a bit young right now, if im being honest, but I still enjoyed every drop.

Located halfway up the hill dominating the principal valley of Barolo, supported by steep slopes lined by orderly vineyards, lies the 15th century Abbey of Annunziata. Medium Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits with herb blossom notes, aged for 12 months on oak. Palate shows flavors of cherry and zesty raspberry with sweet vanilla spice. Firm tannins, lively acidity, medium finish ending with earthy herb character. Good value, Barolo like without $$! Tasting Sample.

Medium bodied wine with juicy notes of strawberry and raspberry. Paired well with spaghetti and meatballs. 🍝🍷🥖

Oooh Nebbiolo is a sexy wine for a chilly rainy noir winter’s night. Smells like a library someone burnt incense in a couple of nights ago. It’s aggressive in the mouth. Those tannins are fighting but underneath them are the flower petals and between bramble and bite and delicate manners it’s a fun wine for an excellent price.

Nice little wine with hints of berry and leather. Touch of oak on the nose with a light lingering tannin finish. Would buy again.

Good, robust tannins. Could perhaps use another few years.

Sour cherry with a bouquet of flowers. A bit of earthiness on nose and a hint of sage. Strong tannins and adequate alcohol will allow for several years of restful sleep. Well done, underrated.
