Well made as always, but it suffers from drying tannins, indicating that it wasn't picked at optimum ripeness. This warm site fares well better in cooler vintages.

Mar 17th, 2017Pretty shy at present, but Conca in this great vintage holds all classic aromas and flavors, just a notch more floral than normal. The underlying structure is impressive with tight tannins, fresh cherry-infused acidity and a prolonged, mineral-lazed finish. Thru 2030.
