Had this about 10 months ago, still very nice. Located halfway up the hill dominating the principal valley of Barolo, supported by steep slopes lined by orderly vineyards, lies the 15th century Abbey of Annunziata. Dark Ruby with ripe berry fruits and pepper spice. On the palate cherry and strawberry, some spice, well balanced with savory chewy tannins on a medium finish ending with mineral notes. Great value. Tasting Sample.

Drank 6/5/19. Very nice with Rigatoni Bolognese.

Scents of red cherry, leather, and a hint of earth. Bright red fruit flavors of red cherry and strawberry, backed by medium tannins. A touch of spice on the medium, red fruit filled finish.

Very nice for the price (around $15 at Costco).

3/22/8/4/3 +50 =90 pts.

Fine. Good for simple drinking. A bit more primitive and uncomplicated than I remember in the tasting but would buy again for a very reasonable price.

Purple hued and fragrant, a tart attack builds with juicy red and black fruits all the way to the finish. Nice length. How is this $15 #costco

Great young summer red. Screaming acidity is very far from the big sweet jammy fruit bombs here in Cali. Great food wine potential.

Ripe fruit. Bright and easy. A bit of effervescence.

A little tart at first. Definitely enter with air. ~$15 at Costco

Better with a little air. Aromas of beef jerky sticks, plum, and sour blackcherry. Almost a little over powering with acidity on the palate, which mellows with food. Paired with smoked pulled pork. Bright, slightly underripe blackberry and cherry fruit. Acid brings length to the finish which does round out.
