Located halfway up the hill dominating the principal valley of Barolo, supported by steep slopes lined by orderly vineyards, lies the 15th century Abbey of Annunziata. Dark red with ripe berry fruits and pepper spice. On the palate cherry and strawberry, some spice, well balanced with savory chewy tannins on a medium finish ending with mineral notes. Tasting Sample.

This is beautifully fruity - cherry, raspberry, tobacco. Super easy to drink with friends. Went great with charcuterie apps and marinara pasta dinner.

Had this about 10 months ago, still very nice. Drank 6/5/19. Very nice with Rigatoni Bolognese.

Scents of red cherry, leather, and a hint of earth. Bright red fruit flavors of red cherry and strawberry, backed by medium tannins. A touch of spice on the medium, red fruit filled finish.

Very nice for the price (around $15 at Costco).

3/22/8/4/3 +50 =90 pts.

A bit too much jam for me. Wine Cask. Wouldn’t buy again

Had the 2017 in December of 2020. Lighter body with a tartness that could be cherry or raspberry. Made my son think of sour beers like a cerise. Not overly sweet and not overtly tart. Nice entry level wine to the evening. Sipping with appetizers kind of wine.

Very tart and juicy. Almost too much so. Much better with a little time and some pizza!
