Stereotypical #Barbera from D'Alba. Dark olive color, shiny. Very very perfumey. Lots of roses, damp blue flowers, stemmy. Tart blueberry, dry maraschino cherry. Quick tannin. Elegance from start to finish.

Very funky- dark, fermented cherries and blackberries, rubber/tires, leather, hairdryer. Enjoyed this, but took awhile to warm up. Definitely recommend pairing with food, was great with beef short rib, alone it is a bit much.

Nose has hints of tar and earth. No fruit but exciting. Taste has light acid and minimal tannins. No noticeable alcohol content. Well balanced. Not much fruit until it was paired with the veal reduction. Excellent wine but even better with the price. 13%. $48 at restaurant. 2014 vintage.

This was the best effort I've had from these folks. 11-13 bucks is a real bargain. Guts, not overly lactic, and a great pairing with my dinner.

Nice minerality/funk with oaky nose. Not fruit forward. Balanced with mild tannins

Pretty light. Barbera comes through and fells smooth.

Bold floral perfume, lipstick and cherry on the nose. Super smooth and dry with cherry on oak on the tongue. I dig this wine! #barbera #wine #italy
