Nose is a herb garden with a heavy black peppercorn. Tongue is balanced but still peppery finish. Interesting wine especially after a cab sav wine club meeting. Will continue to seek out this grape due to its interesting profile. $20. — 8 years ago
Spicy on the nose and delicious raspberry and acid on the tongue. Could drink on its own. No food needed. Nice price — 8 years ago
Flowery and peach notes. Maybe a little white pepper also. Bright acidity with tartness. Nice match for the hot summer day. $14 — 8 years ago
Toasty bread on the nose. Tart apple smeared on a biscuit for the palate. Soft bubbles. As it warms the tartness increases. — 7 years ago
Nose has muted earthy notes. Taste has some peppery notes with lots of dark fruit. Little acid but alcohol feels warm in the mouth. Definitely Merlot based. Finish is light. Not bad for $14 — 8 years ago
Nose has little fragrance. Bright fruit on the tongue. A little more dark fruit in the end. A touch of acid. Maybe a bit too much alcohol for me. — 8 years ago
Tobacco on the nose and palate. Nice acid. Delicious wine. — 7 years ago
Nose began as muted but has changed to soapy to fruity. Palate has a slight red cherry with thin finish. A little stemmy. Overall not bad for the price. $15 — 8 years ago
After first opening it had lots of fruit on the nose. After 45 mins it has some barnyard notes that are a little much. It comes through on the taste as well. After a little more time the poopyness has a little fruit to match. Really mixed emotions on this. Needs food but not sure what. need to try again from a different proprietor. $17 — 8 years ago
