A pre-dinner bottle while we do meal prep tonight.
Prior notes still apply:
Nose has lime zest, lime juice, green hay, wet granite/limestone pebbles, oxidized green apple peel, polyethylene tubing and tangerine peel.
Palate has Key lime flesh, cold tangerine slice, apricot skin, wet-pulverized limestone, lemongrass, tangerine zest, (minor) dried apricot and light honey on the medium finish, medium acid, great balance.

These are night 2 notes. On night 1 it was showing a lot of fragrance but was shy on the palate. Just the opposite on night 2: nose shows shy but pure notes of crisp apple, underripe peach, and slatey minerality. But it’s got nice roundness and intensity in the mouth, with a nice, user-friendly balance of minerality and fruit. Dry, but not in a demanding way. Very nice. (Thanks to my brother for this gift bottle!)
These are night 2 notes. On night 1 it was showing a lot of fragrance but was shy on the palate. Palate has Key lime flesh, cold tangerine slice, apricot skin, wet-pulverized limestone, lemongrass, tangerine zest, (minor) dried apricot and light honey on the medium finish, medium acid, great balance.
Decanted 3H, double-decanted into the bottle, then cooled for service.

Nice Single Vineyard FLX Riesling from a great producer! Big aromas of petrol and green apple. Apple and mineral flavors with crisp acidity. The fruit notes build as the wine sits in the glass. Bone dry.

Really like this, musky, tropical fruit notes in the very strong finish. One of my faves from our finger lakes wine trip!
