Nicely balanced almost old world style Bordeaux blend. Nose has crisp cherry fruit, hint of violets, a little herbal wisp, and a well-judged modest oak note. Mouthfilling flavors but with a nice sense of lightness. Still some youthful tannin to resolve, which, together with the nice acids, augurs for a few more years in the cellar.

NOSE: blueberry, chocolate, light roast coffee, blackberry. Smells good!
TASTE: delicious. Blueberry, cherry, orange peel, clove and baking spices. Tannins are pretty mild and silky, bitter chocolate. Pleasant surprise. 91. Reminds me of some Washington wines I’ve had.
