Bought this sparkler after a F & W review, $22 in the state store. Loved the interview with the winemaker, especially the part about the cost of wine http://robbreport.com/wine-spirits-cigars/head-raventos-i-blanc-rebel-wine-world-qa. Great value

Jan 2nd, 2017A very dry Spanish sparkler from Barcelona this "Conca" is a kind of upgraded Cava, using the traditional varietals – Macabeo, Xarel-lo and Parellada. Citrus and toast on the nose give way to flavors of apple, lemon and a little pear, with hints of caramel and toffee lingering in the background. Expertly balanced and very refreshing, if you're ready for a higher end cava, this is it. Vigorous, well-formed bubbles and a lively acidity beg for oysters, spiced langostina, briny olives, and salumi. But it's not just for Tapas anymore – try this with fish and chips or a spicy chicken salad sandwich!
